Office Managing Partner, Washington DC Metro – Partner, Tax
Tim has over 30 years of professional experience as an auditor, lawyer, and tax professional, serving Fortune 500 and mid-market companies in diverse industries. He joined KPMG as a partner in 1998; he is a 2006 graduate of the firm’s C25 leadership development program. He served on the KPMG LLP Board of Directors from 2008 to 2013. Prior to his current role, Tim served as Global Head Indirect Tax Services and Global Head Tax Technology. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at Georgetown University Law Center, where he teaches Global Indirect Tax.
Tim began his career as an auditor with Arthur Young & Company, and practiced law for seven years with the law firm of Sutherland, Asbill & Brennan, LLP in Atlanta.
He is active in community and youth sports organizations. He serves on the Board of Directors of the American Heart Association – Greater Washington Region and of ThanksUSA, an organization that provides scholarships for military children and spouses.
