Building on our firm’s 125 years of positive impact in the communities where we live and work, KPMG U.S. and the KPMG U.S. Foundation are committing more than $125 million over the next five years to support programs that will help underrepresented groups confront systemic barriers in education, health care, and economic opportunity.
Support for all higher education institutions, including community colleges and trade schools

USHCA works with human capital leaders in schools, districts, and states to analyze their unique talent needs, provide customized materials and guidance, and identify key metrics to measure success and improve outcomes through enhanced teacher and leader quality. Our funding supports partnerships with district human resources teams in five school systems to help identify problematic gaps in teacher effectiveness and implement a plan to ensure teachers are equipped to thrive.
MindSpark activates educators to solve society’s biggest challenges by providing transformative professional learning experiences. The organization provides professional development opportunities using a foundation of innovation, inclusion, well-being, and workforce literacy. Our funding supports its New Teacher Development and Education Accelerator programs, designed to support educators with more equitable classroom management techniques — such as inclusion in the classroom, health and wellness, and resilience — and professional development in community-based problem solving, agility, unconscious bias, emotional intelligence, and more.

The organization takes a holistic and community-driven approach to programming to support Latino individuals and families, including new immigrants and low-income families who dream of a better future. Our funding supports CLUES’s Economic Empowerment initiatives, including employment coaching, financial capability education, pathways to homeownership education, and support in navigating healthcare systems.

Boys & Girls Clubs of America is the nation’s premier youth development organization, with programs, training, and services that impact nearly 4 million children and teens every year. The organization provides safe, positive, and inclusive environments for all youth and teens — of every race, ethnicity, gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, ability, socioeconomic status, and religion — to enable them to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.
Special Olympics is a global movement of people creating a new world of inclusion and community, where every single person is accepted and welcomed, regardless of ability or disability. The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them ongoing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and their community.
The All Stars Project of Dallas aims to transform the lives of underserved youth in Dallas through mentorship and community support. All Stars invests in intensive door-to-door community outreach to grow the All Stars Talent Show Network and the Development School for Youth, provides development coaching to help youth grow their network of caring adults, collaborates with nonprofits as part of The School Zone, and partners with local organizations, thought leaders, and policy makers.

The Arbor Day Foundation has grown over the last 50 years to become the largest member nonprofit organization dedicated to planting trees, distributing nearly 500 million trees worldwide. Our funding supports the general mission of Arbor Day Foundation. Since 2014, the organization has been our national partner for planting a tree for every new hire.
TCI believes youth are key to solving the climate challenge, and its mission is to develop a cohesive youth voice that influences decision-makers to embrace climate solutions. TCI aims to educate, empower, and activate 10 million youth to reach this goal by 2025. Our funding promotes nationwide distribution of eight Learning Labs, which will be used to teach the importance of climate action to youth. Each educator will be provided with a stipend for delivery of the program.
GRID Alternatives is the nation’s largest nonprofit solar installer, serving families throughout California, Colorado, the Mid-Atlantic region, and tribal communities nationwide. GRID envisions a rapid, equitable transition to a world powered by renewable energy that benefits everyone. Our funding will support community-powered solutions to advance economic and environmental justice through renewable energy, including no-cost solar installation for low-income households and multifamily affordable housing providers, training to connect people to clean energy jobs, energy access projects internationally and in tribal communities, and access to electric vehicle programs for low-income communities.
