John Walker

John Walker is the Audit Sector Leader for the Industrial Markets industry practice at KPMG US.  An experienced auditor with over thirty years of expertise in financial statement audit and related services, he specializes in industrial markets and chemicals industries. 

John joined KPMG in 2002, becoming a partner in 2004, and has more than 30 years of experience providing professional auditing services. He previously served as the audit partner in-charge of the Pennsylvania business unit from 2019 to 2023. Still based out of Philadelphia, John currently serves both domestic and large multinational clients whose business focuses on chemical, industrial manufacturing and distribution. 

Throughout his career, John has not only audited US GAAS and IFRS reporting companies but also has managed audits of companies with operations in Europe, Asia and Latin America. 

Outside of his professional life, John is actively involved in various organizations. He serves as a Director of the Philadelphia Chapter of the French American Chamber of Commerce, volunteers as a mentor for the Asian Pacific Islander business group, and previously served for five years on the Board of the Eastern PA Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
